Week in Review: 6th Jan - 12th Jan

This week started with the usual mix of work, cycling, and side projects, but everything revolved around the big event on the horizon—Tash’s due date. I kept busy with feature development, job hunting, and some site optimisation, while also squeezing in workouts, Zwift rides with Hugh, and guitar practice. A thoughtful paternity gift from my team and a stunning walk at Chatsworth added some nice highlights.

By Sunday morning, everything changed—Tash woke me up at 5am to say her waters had broken. We made a trip to the hospital, got sent home to wait, and spent the day keeping busy until contractions ramped up in the evening. By midnight, it was time to head back in…
